Calm &Quiet
Believe me my folks, I
ll be calm and I ll be quiet,
Like the air, so
still, so pale; before the tides
Ring some bells, show
some might, for that the storm is yet to arrive,
For this storm may wash,
all beings and all life.
Believe me my folks, I’ll
be calm and I ll be quiet
And if you are still alive,
broken and half dead
I will take you to
the gallows of the death
Believe me my folks,
I’ll be calm and I’ll be quiet
I will ease your pain
and all your sorrows,
For this may sound,
cruel and frightening
You will see the truth,
with the strike of the lightening.
And if you may choose
to rise from the ashes,
To lead this land,
all beings and all life
I ll grant you that wish,
your blessing in disguise
I will vanish in the air
that is still so stale
Believe me my folks, I
ll be calm and I ll be quiet.
